I’m thinking about blogging again. We’ll see how long that will last.

The proposal happened while we were making french fries. It doesn’t get much more perfect than that! ;-)

C. arrives tomorrow. We’ve both been counting down to his arrival so today I woke up feeling like a kid on the day before his/her b-day. Then C. calls me and tells me that he’s stuck in bumper to bumper traffic on his way to NYC. He then finds out why there’s so much traffic. Panic sets in and we’re both freaking out. What if his flight is canceled? What if we have to wait another day? Or, eek, even worse, two or three days? Luckily the situation quickly started to show signs of improvement and the airport is functioning again. I can go back to my countdown. Less than 11 hours to go…

Just one more week until C. comes back. I can’t wait, the last two weeks seemed like two years. Plus TiVo is getting full with all our favorite shows.

I figured I should get another blog in before the end of July (at least for the sake of archiving consistency).
So here are a few updates since I last blogged:
C. and I are officially dating. Then, in mid-June, he had a motorcycle accident and fractured two ribs. He stayed at my place over the next week so I could nurture him back to good health. He’s been here ever since so we finally “officialized” the fact that we’re living together in early July.

And that brings us to today. He’s in NY right now and I miss him terribly. All I can say is that it’s been an awesome two months, despite the accident.

My dad is leaving today. I can’t believe how quickly the past week went by. We spent most of the the time shopping and eating. Oh, and planning the wedding. The good news is that my mom will be taking care of almost everything. Since the wedding will be in Brazil, all I have to do is fly down there and show up in a wedding dress. Yeah right! If only it were that simple.

I’m sick. It started Sunday night. Three other people in my group are sick too. And three more if you go up one level in the management chain. We’ve been calling it “The Plague”. Anyway, time to go take my super-drowsy meds.

Yes, I am still around. I’ve just been too busy with work lately and hardly have any free time. I promise to come back to the land of the living soon.

This is the first time I have no new year’s resolutions (although I did the color-coded Brazilian underwear thing. But I’m not telling which color I chose). If 2003 is as good as 2002, I’ll be more than happy.
