I spent all day avoiding the madness on campus due to Tom Cruise’s appearance. Alas, I was not completely successful.

I had a meeting with Finance in a room on the first floor of our building. I still don’t know my way around too well but was able to locate the conference room. Except that the hallway was blocked by some big burly bodyguards. I told them I needed to get through since I had a meeting to get to. They told me no one could go past that point. I then see this super short guy (Tom Cruise) with a much taller woman (Katie Holmes) walking alongside an even shorter guy (our CEO).

Once they were safely inside the server room, I tried again.

“I really need to get through. I’m trying to get to a room that’s right in this hallway”

“Hm-Hmm. What’s the name of the room?”

“Uh. Studfinder?”

Insert laugh track here. Then repeat.

Luckily, some PR person was there and she pointed out that the room did in fact exist and that it was just down the hallway.
