Killer Mustard

Edmond Fallot Dijon Mustard

Edmond Fallot, Unknown Binding,

A couple of weeks ago, a tiny little jar of mustard fell on the stupid glass top of our range causing it to crack in several places. So I talked to our landlord and he said he could fix it if we ordered the part. I then called Whirlpool and found out that the part costs $364. It’s a $500 oven for god’s sake. So we kept looking online for cheaper places and came up with nothing! It took me a few days to get used to the fact that we would just have to go with it. To sum it all up, I just got off the phone with Whirlpool and plonked down $409.03 for the part. We might as well have spent a few extra dollars and bought a new GAS stove! Argh!

Weddings & More Weddings

19 Topic: shopping, wedding

marisamarisaSpeaking of dresses, I took advantage of my mom being here to go get my dress. We ended up having to custom order a dress since we liked two different ones. The final dress will look similar to the one of the left but with an empire waist and the cafe waist wrap from the dress on the right. Unfortunately I won’t get to see it until early November so hopefully it will come out ok.

Now that everyone is gone, I will try to catch up with my postings.

We went to Sofia’s wedding on 7/10. It was great. She did an amazing job planning for it in such a short time. They picked the most amazing location in San Francisco. The view is incredible but you need to look at the virtual tour to see it. Her dress was also beautiful!

Meet the Parents

Peter James (Cinematographer). Universal Studios 2000, DVD, $14.98

My parents are in town. Yay! They met C. and everyone got along famously. Yay! We’ve been spending a lot of time talking about the wedding. Ugh! All my fears that I’m not bride material are starting to materialize. I’ve never been one of those girls who fantasized about her wedding day. I never even thought about it at all. But now there’s all this stuff to think about. Eloping sounds like such a good idea…
