Yes, that IS San Francisco in the background. For someone (and it’s important to point out that we are talking about a Brazilian someone) who lived in Rochester, NY for 9 years, a couple of inches of snow doesn’t really mean much.

However, when this someone lives in a house with no insulation, then those couple of inches might as well be a couple of feet.

Especially if one starts to wonder whether someone’s heater is actually working. Because it’s been 3 hours since it stopped working. And it’s getting extremely cold here. The temperature gauge is showing that it’s 55 in here and the thermostat is set to 80. Oh no! Someone thinks the heater is broken! Help!
