Reading about driving mocs on Jenny’s blog gave me a major flashback. They used to be HUGE when I was in High School back in Brazil. I had 3 or 4 pairs but I got rid of them several years ago.

They are super comfortable but I couldn’t see myself wearing them again. They’re a little too preppie-soccer-Mom-with-the-largest-possible-SUV-and-blond-shaggy-haircut-who-spends-summers-in-the-hamptons for me.

It turns out that I’m 28% gay and 66% slutty. I can’t believe that 390 women also chose Daniel Day Lewis as the best sex option of all time.

Heidi will have to forgive me but I think Jenny is the next Martha. Have you seen the purple caterpillar cake and the puppet show she made for Hannah? They’re awesome!

On the other hand, Heidi did make some nice paper flowers… :-)

This past Saturday, we decided to make an exception to our crafts parties and allow men to join us.

Now I know why they had been banned in the first place! They can’t multi-task so they are no fun!

While Heidi, Su, and I talked the whole time WHILE creating magnificent origami shapes, Nathan hardly noticed we were there. He didn’t participate and he had nothing to say. He basically sat in a corner and concentrated on the task at hand.

Lucas was basically the same but he gave up after his first origami and said he would socialize with us instead. So anyway, this was solid concrete proof that men cannot multi-task!

Last Saturday, Su and I went back to the pub. We were offered free tickets to go see Depeche Mode but we’re too old for that.

For concerts, not for Depeche Mode.

Some strange things are happening lately. I got a message on my cell phone from some pervert. It went something like this:”Oooh honey, oooh I’m so horny, ooooh sweetheart, oooh please come get me”. I kid you not; every third word was “oooh”.

Then I got a strange message on my voicemail at work. Although that one just sounded like someone calling me from his/her pocket. What I mean is that they probably unknowingly dialed my number from their cell phone and the cell phone happened to be in his/her pocket.

Finally, I came in to work today (I usually work from home on Fridays) to find several Chiclets on the floor. How did that happen? I have a container with Chiclets on a bookcase across from my desk. The Chiclets were on the floor under my desk. Upon closer inspection of the shelf that houses the Chiclets container, I found a post-it note all crumpled up. I had thrown that post-it note on the garbage yesterday.

It’s all very strange.
