This evening, as I was leaving work, I saw a dead bird on the ground. It was really sad. So I had to call Heidi on my way home and tell her about it.

Me:"I saw a dead bird in our parking lot today."
Heidi:"Oh no, how sad!"
Me [sounding very sad and matter-of-factly]: "I know, it was in the handicapped spot…"

Heidi burst into laughter which in turn made me laugh. And we both laughed like crazy for a long time. Still, it was very sad…
